The Department for Educational Sciences at PH Zurich examines educational processes and teaching practice in their social contexts. It comprises four research centres and two research groups specialising in different subject areas.
Our mission
The Department for Educational Sciences considers, among other things, the questions of how social, political and technological developments help shape the educational system, how family and institutional educational processes interact, or which psychosocial factors and dynamics influence learning at school.
