The Centre for Inclusion and Health in Schools works on academic research required to help make schools more inclusive and healthy places. The work carried out by the centre focuses on achieving equal opportunities, empowerment and participation.
Our mission
Inclusion and health promotion in schools are the top priorities for the Centre for Inclusion and Health in Schools, with a focus on achieving equal opportunities, empowerment and participation. The centre’s aims are to identify where pressure is being placed on the school system as a whole and relieve some of that pressure. The question surrounding the human and social resources required to achieve this forms part of the centre’s research.
