Research and development follows a defined research profile, houses an educational history library and supports junior researchers.
In line with its research profile, PH Zurich sees itself as a link between educational research and educational practice. Research and development activities aim to support the professionalisation of teaching professions and to promote the further development of in-school practice.
PH Zurich also supports junior researchers. Doctoral students are supervised by PH Zurich and the universities they are registered at.
At PH Zurich, the Pestalozzianum Research Library holds documents relevant to the history of schooling and education (books, journals and archives) and makes them available to students, researchers and interested members of the public.
