Studying at PH Zurich within a mobility programme

Through exchange semesters and short-term programmes, PH Zurich facilitates exchanges for students on degree programmes in Education Sciences and Teacher Education in Switzerland or abroad.

PH Zurich is happy to welcome exchange students from partner universities and offers a range of exciting course units taught in English, German and French.

Spend one or two semesters at PH Zurich. Enjoy an exciting and practical range of courses in teacher education at preprimary, primary and secondary level.

Study at PH Zurich for one or two semesters

You are eligible to apply for an exchange semester at PH Zurich if you have already completed at least two semesters at a university of teacher education.

If you are a student at one of the PH Zurich partner universities – of which there are over 100 – you should be able to take advantage of one of the many available exchange and mobility programmes. If you are studying at a university that does not have a bilateral mobility agreement in place with PH Zurich, you can still apply to study with us independently as a free mover.

As an exchange student at PH Zurich, you can benefit from an attractive range of course units taught in English within the degree programmes (Pre-Primary and Early-Primary, Primary, Lower Secondary).

Students at PH Zurich also have the option to complete an exchange semester at one of our partner universities in Switzerland or abroad. Students will be provided with more information about this once they have started their studies.

National exchanges

Are you a student at a university in French-speaking Switzerland or in Ticino who is interested in completing an exchange semester at PH Zurich? You can study at PH Zurich for one or two semesters through the National Teacher Exchange Programme (NALE) coordinated by Movetia.

International student exchanges at PH Zurich are funded by the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP), the Swiss programme for Erasmus+. Bilateral exchange agreements are in place with universities outside of Europe.
