The Executive Board is in charge of PH Zurich at the operational level. It consists of the President, the Vice-Presidents and the Director of Administration.
Our mission
The Executive Board of PH Zurich is responsible for all matters for which it is legally responsible (University of Applied Sciences Act or University Regulations), as well as for business assigned to it by the President. The UAS Council is responsible for the strategic management of the university.
The Executive Board takes its decisions as a collegial body. It consists of the President, the Vice-Presidents and the Director of Administration and is supported by the General Secretary.
What we do
The Executive Board
- Awards bachelor’s and master’s degrees and other qualifications and titles in accordance with the examination and doctoral regulations
- Enacts the university regulations
- Has the power to create advisory boards
- Is responsible for quality assurance
- Proposes the global budget and the development and finance plan to the UAS Council
- Coordinates teaching, continuing education, research and development, and services
- Appoints the academic staff
