Continuing education and services offered by PH Zurich are delivered in the spirit of life-long learning. The focus is on the educational system, with current trends taken into consideration and the long-term development of educational stakeholders as the priority. The continuing education and services can be more general or tailored to specific target groups, covering teaching and leadership, consultancy and coaching for individuals and teams.

Various formats for all levels

PH Zurich supports teaching staff working at all levels of compulsory schooling – pre-primary and early primary, primary and lower secondary – with a wide range of training courses. There is also training on offer at PH Zurich for teaching staff working at vocational schools, in higher vocational education and in adult education. Teaching and management staff at universities will also find all kinds of training and consultancy relating to teaching and learning in higher education at PH Zurich.

There are courses, modules, advisory and supervision services, and even some full training programmes. These include:

• CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies): usually 10 ECTS points
• DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies): usually 30 ECTS points
• MAS (Master of Advanced Studies): usually 60 ECTS points
