What we offer
The evaluations of the Department for International Projects in Education enable ministries of education, school principals, NGOs and foundations to make a scientifically sound assessment of their education projects.
The department discusses the approach in detail with the client and takes the latter’s needs into account. The tools vary according to the question and requirement, and are adapted to the specific context. Qualitative social science research tools range from the traditional qualitative content analysis of existing documents or interview excerpts to participant observation, qualitative expert or in-depth interviews, and the planning, execution and evaluation of focus group discussions. Grounded theory, action research or classic evaluation criteria (the criteria of the OECD DAC Network on Development Evaluation (EvalNet), for example) form the framework.
