Graduate surveyThe majority work as teachers and teach in the canton of Zurich
PH Zurich’s third graduate survey shows that more than 80% work as teachers after graduation, 85% of them in the canton of Zurich. Looking back, almost 90% would choose the same degree programme again, and three quarters would study at the same university again.
Continued high student numbers – marked increase for Pre-Primary and Early-Primary Degree Programme
A total of 1236 students enrolled at the Zurich University of Teacher Education this year. This is a slight decrease compared to the previous year.
Admission procedureChanges to EDK regulations
The Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK) has amended the regulations on the recognition of teaching diplomas. You can now register for an alternative teacher certification programme (Quest) from the age of 27.
