The collaborative doctoral programme in qualitative-reconstructive professionalisation research (PRO2) focuses on qualitative-reconstructive professional and professionalisation research and forms a working context and a network of expertise in this field. PRO2 supports doctoral students in the development of their thesis; doctorates are obtained at the participating universities, namely the University of Cologne and the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.
The reconstructive research horizon enables a variety of object-theory and research-methodology approaches to phenomena relating to the teaching profession, teacher training and work in schools. The current doctoral projects provide an overview of the thematic spectrum of the doctoral college.
