The Vocational Education Research Group covers questions and challenges relating to vocational education with a focus on teaching/learning processes, professional development and the educational system.
Our mission
The research work conducted by the Vocational Education Research Group has links to various subdisciplines of the education sciences and involves interdisciplinary approaches. The research group is in constant dialogue with the field of application – in the education and training of teachers, collaboration with schools and teaching enterprises, the development of vocational education in the context of the cooperative partnership between the state, cantons and professional organisations, and in international cooperation.
