Our mission
The research group is an interdisciplinary team that focuses on the research and development of conditions for teaching and learning processes in higher education. It contributes to the further development of teaching and learning in higher education research with a focus on the following areas:
- The analysis of phenomena and processes at different levels of the organisation, taking into account a wide range of actors and perspectives
- Supporting the learning processes of adults at universities is central to the work
- Skills development in the context of digital transformation, with the aim of promoting the acquisition of key skills in an increasingly digital working and everyday life
Organisational development processes at different levels, along with their connections and interrelations, are researched in various projects. This includes the planning and development of curricula in initial and continuing education, the development of digitalisation strategies and approaches to the continuing education of teaching staff. The research group employs a wide range of research methods and works closely with national and international partners. The collaboration with the DIZH professorship “Digital Higher Education” at the University of Zurich broadens the scope of research.
