Description

The project supports teams in understanding themselves as places of learning for the dual competence profile. It expands the perspective of personnel development of (junior) staff focused in most projects of the PgB funding period 2017–2020 by focusing on the development of teams. This is because the demand for a comprehensive dual competence profile (orientation towards academic and professional practice) for all employees is a high requirement and a team-oriented approach has potential.

The further development of the dual competence profile is not only important at the beginning of a professional career at a university of teacher education (UTE) or university of applied sciences (UAS), but is a permanent task for all employees. Until now, competence development has hardly been pursued systematically. This is where the project comes in.

The aim of the project is to describe the dual competence profile at team level and to use interventions to support teams in seeing themselves as spaces of learning for the (further) development of the dual competence profile “on the job”. The people involved in the project combine their skills in a comparative approach and develop specific solutions for their own institutions.
