About

Dominique Krebs-Oesch is a coordinator in the Coordination Office of the DEEP (Digital Education for Equity in Primary Schools) research consortium, which is supported by the Jacob Foundation.

After her training as a primary school teacher (Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education), Dominique Krebs-Oesch studied educational science at the University of Zurich.

She completed her PhD in 2016 at the University of Frankfurt am Main in the binational SNSF project “TIDES – Transitions in different educational systems” (University of Frankfurt am Main & PH FHNW) on the topic of institutional permeability in different educational systems.

Between 2016 and 2024, Dominique Krebs-Oesch worked on the TREE (Transitions from Education to Employment) infrastructure project in survey management and project communication.

Her current work and research focus on the enabling conditions of translational processes between educational research and practice. She investigates these processes within the DEEP consortium – particularly in the research project Agents that Matter – as well as through her engagement with research-practice partnerships, especially Networked Improvement Communities (NICs), as promising formats for the co-construction of knowledge between science and practice.

She is also involved in the doctoral program Educational Research in Professional Fields (BiB) and is part of the coordination team currently developing its own network and a new structured doctoral program.
