The German Language Education Research Group studies how the German language is learned and taught, with investigations underway to identify the optimum conditions for German lessons.
Our mission
The research group focuses on German language education. Its activities include modelling linguistic skills in all areas of learning. The developmental and socialising processes of language acquisition, language learning and language reflection are also examined. The role of German as the language of education and instruction in all subjects is another focus of the research work being carried out by this group.
