The main focus of the Arts Didactics Research Group is the further development of subject-specific and research discourse. It examines subject-specific teaching and learning processes and promotes their fundamental importance as a learning area in everyday life.
Our mission
The central focus of the Arts Education Research Group is the research and development of teaching and learning opportunities that support children and young people in perceiving and exploring the world attentively and actively shaping it. This includes facilitating aesthetic experiences and promoting creativity and image/media literacy. The field of research encompasses several disciplines, which are addressed by the research group depending on the expertise of its members and the focus of each project: dance/rhythm/theatre education, music education, design and technology education and visual arts education.
