John Hattie has synthesised more than 2000 meta-analyses and thousands of individual studies, identifying over 400 factors that influence learning outcomes. He is Professor of Education at the University of Melbourne.

Janet Clinton is Professor of Evaluation at the University of Melbourne and leads the Teacher Effectiveness Research Hub. She works on international evaluation projects and focuses on evidence-informed practice and professional learning in schools.
