Description

The project consists of a development and a research part. In the development part, we create an ecologically valid intervention that enables secondary grade students to find and evaluate potentially useful arguments by prompting the Chat-GPT algorithm. This approach should assist them to argue in a balanced way when they create their own text without using Chat-GPT. In the research part, we use an experimental control group design to examine how the students plan their texts (processes) and how well organised their argumentative texts are (products). In doing so, the project makes an important contribution by researching how AI can be used in a meaningful way for educational purposes.
