Description

The project “Chance for Children” is part of the social commitment of the PH Zurich. Lecturers from the PH Zurich volunteer to train teachers and social workers from the Swiss-Ghanaian NGO “Chance for Children” in Accra. The NGO supports street children with a drop-in centre, a home and various educational opportunities, including support for vocational training.

“Chance for Children” was founded in 1999 by Amon Kotey from Ghana and Daniela Rüdisüli Sodjah from Switzerland. In 2009, Daniela Rüdisüli Sodjah was awarded the education prize of the PH Zurich and the Pestalozzianum Foundation for her work with street children.
