About

Nicole Wespi is a qualified primary school teacher and media and communication scientist. From 2017 to 2023, she was project leader of the Media and Computer Science Course (GMI). As part of the introduction of “Lehrplan 21”, the PHZH used this project to train over 3000 teachers in the new subject of media and computer science. She co-authored the teaching material “MIA in der 3. und 4. Klasse” (Winner of the Worlddidac Award 2023 and the Innovationspreis delina 2024) and co-edited the volume “Digital Leadership – Schulen im digitalen Wandel führen”. Nicole Wespi is part of the project team that developed the game ImaginEd as part of a DIZH project. This game enables schools to approach digital transformation in a playful way. It was published in fall 2025 by Hep-Verlag.

She is co-leader of the CAS Digital Leadership in Education and is involved in various projects.
