About
Hanja Hansen has been working in continuing education at and for various universities for over 30 years and has initiated and implemented numerous innovative projects.
She was involved in setting up the learning workshop at the Lucerne University of Teacher Education and managed the cross-university project “Media Informatics Application (MIA)”. She was also responsible for the development of the service area at the Schaffhausen University of Teacher Education and the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PH Zurich). Since 1992, she has also designed and developed numerous new continuing education programmes and advised universities on the development of continuing education, bachelor’s degree master programmes.
At the PH Zurich, Hanja Hansen worked as a lecturer, programme director and Vice-Rector for Continuing Education and Services. She dealt with the topics of education management, organisational development and university governance.
Hanja Hansen has been Innovation Manager University Development at the PH Zurich since May 2024. She leads the participatory university management project “University Teaching of the Future”. This includes setting up a Collaborative Learning Lab and developing future-oriented teaching and learning scenarios for the PH Zurich.
Hanja Hansen studied sociology, computer sciences and ethnology at the University of Zurich and completed her doctorate in 1998 on Organisational Change.
