About

Clément Zürn has been a lecturer in French didactics at the Zurich University of Education since August 2007.

In 1994 he received a master’s degree in linguistics in German and Romance languages ​​from the Free University of Berlin. He then worked as a university assistant at the same university.

In 2022 he submitted his dissertation entitled “L’expression du passé dans des interactions avec des apprenants débutants du français L3” at the University of Neuchâtel and received the PhD degree in 2023. His research creates a connection between linguistics and foreign language didactics by examining the ability of secondary school students to participate in authentic oral conversations in French.
