Research on Subject-Specific Education : New Research Group
A new research group at PH Zurich will focus on subject-specific teaching research and act as a link between the different areas of subject-specific education. It thus focuses on a cross-cutting issue that is relevant to all divisions of the university.
The research group examines teaching as the core business of teachers from various subject-specific perspectives. To this end, it conducts practical, interdisciplinary projects. Pedagogical research is also understood as the basis for the development of teaching that can be connected to the school environment.
The group was established on 1 September 2025. It is led by Christian Herrmann. Ilaria Ferrari Ehrensberger will also take over the leadership of the Physical Education Research Group from September.
